the maglev - magnetic levitation - train coming to a stop at the downtown station. this train is one of a kind in the world and reaches 430 km/h on it's trip between downtown shanghai and the new airport in pudong. the ride is a bit bumpy, about the same as a conventional bullet train at half the speed.
